Well, a lot of things have changed since last I was here. Most importantly I have become one more of addition to the unemployment statistics. As of today I'm entering into my tenth week of my involuntary vacation. I will start to write here something akin to an e-journal called the "Trials and Tribulations of an Unemployed."
While I'm certainly optimistic that there is always a viable solution to any problem including the immediate one of not having a reliable source of income, being without a job certainly comes with it's set of physical, practical and emotional challenges that can very easily make you fall face first into the ground.
There is some comfort knowing that I'm not alone in this conundrum and that there is a group of people, both friends and strangers, willing to lend me a helping hand. To all of them thanks!
If anyone stumbles upon these notes and reads them, I hope that they find benefit from my experience.
Right now I'm grateful that I'm in good health and very capable of doing good work as many unemployed people are today.
Stay tuned for my updates.
Good luck to all!
